When the forest where the hummingbird lived went up in flames, the other animals ran out to save themselves. But the hummingbird stayed, flying to and from a nearby river with drops of water in its beak to pour on the fire. From a distance, the other animals laughed and mocked it. "What do you think you are doing?" they shouted. "This fire is overwhelming. You can't do anything." Finally, the hummingbird turned to them and said, "I'm doing what I can." -as told by Wangari Maathai

are you still feeling blah? let us know how the ol' tummy is doing...
i will think of the tree shark as a deity of protection. like guardian angels in the trees. i know you are safe and all, but it's good to know that someone's got your back...
I just realized that a better caption for this photo would be "Sharks in a Tree!!" Please accept my apologies for missing the obvious.
Sharks in a Tree...hmmm...the sequel to Snakes on a Plane?
Miss you!
Love,
Beth
